A Davenport Hand-Painted Dessert Set c. 1870 - A set of twelve plates and compote c.1870 - 86, pale green with a gilt border, each with a reticulated rim, the plates with central hand painted landscapes and description on the back.  Dimensions:  the plates are 9” in diameter, the compote 11 1/2” in diameter and 8” tall.  Condition: Minor surface loss to the paint, two of the plates have rim chips or hairlines.
