May (Maria) Hallowell Loud (1860 - 1916) Pastel - A genre portrait of a young girl seated on a ladderback chair and wearing an antique bonnet. Pastel on paper, laid upon canvas, signed and dated for 1900 at the upper right.  With partial old gallery tag affixed verso.    Dimensions: 26” x 22”, the frame 34” x 30”.  Condition: Appears to be in good condition, not examined out of the frame. The frame has scattered gesso loss.
