Seated with long dark hair, wearing all black and a cross around her neck. In a gilded oak frame. Inscribed verso, ”Theodore Kram / Painter / Port Providence / Montgomery Co.”. Dimensions:  Sight 19 x 15in; Frame 26 x 22in. Footnote: Port Providence is an unincorporated village along the Schuylkill River in Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Condition: The canvas is laid down to card. Losses to canvas along edges. Craquelure to the canvas overall.Examined under UV Light, there is scattered areas that fluoresce. There is in-painting to the sitter's eyes, eye lashes, hair and small areas to her clothing and background.
