Helen Bershad (American, 1934) Two Pastels - Two pastels on paper, Rosetta Earth IV signed and dated for 1978 and Bel Canto III, signed and dated for 1980.  Helen Bershad's work is devoted to exploring color, form, space, and line as they exist on the surface of the canvas. Considered an abstractionist, the nature of her work directly relates to the abstract expressionist movement, but redefines its concepts through her own intellect and vision. Her work is held in the collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Moore College of Art, and The Delaware Art Museum, among other noteworthy institutions. She exhibited regularly with the Marian Locks Gallery, Haber Theodore Gallery, And Gallery West, among others.   Dimensions: Each sheet is 22 1/2” x 30”.      Condition: Both in good condition, unframed.
