Pair of Egyptian Revival Black Basalt Griffin Form Table Lamps, Mottahedeh - A Pair of Egyptian Revival Parcel Gilt Black Basalt Figural Griffin Form Candlesticks, Probably Mottahedeh, 20th Century. Each modeled as a seated griffin having a gold medallion with fleur-de-lis, raised on a faux siena marble base, now mounted as table lamps. Dimensions: Height of candlesticks 10 1/4in; Height overall 21in; width 4 1/4in; depth 6 1/2in. Provenance:  Property from the Collection of Lisa and John DeBella. Condition: One griffin with a re-stuck wing. Fleabites and small chip losses to the rectangular base. The shades are in good condition.
