English Carved and Joined Oak Backstool / Side Chair - An English Carved and Joined Oak Backstool / Side Chair, Probably South Lancashire / North Cheshire, Circa 1680-1720. Dimensions: Height 38 3/4in; width 19 1/2in; depth of seat 13in; seat height 18 1/4in. Provenance: Property from a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Estate. Condition: Structurally sound. Scattered old repairs,  reinforcements and losses throughout. The crest rail with old break and repairs with rose head nails. The seat is currently not completely fastened.
