Queen Anne Mahogany Side Chair, Second Quarter 18th Century - A Queen Anne Mahogany Side Chair, Second Quarter 18th Century. The yoked crest above a solid vasiform splat, flanked by shaped stiles over a trapezoidal slip seat, raised on cabriole legs joined by turned stretchers, ending in pad feet. Dimensions: Height 38in; width 21in; depth of seat 18in; seat height 15in. Provenance: Property from a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Estate.   Condition: Structurally sound. Scattered repairs and restoration to the stiles. Reinforced joints throughout. Age cracks and shrinkage, heavy dust and dirt accumulation throughout. The velvet upholstery is worn.
