An English Rococo Style Polychromed Tole Peinte Coal Bin, Shoolbred, Lovebridge & Shoolbred, Dated 1844. Decorated with foliates, scrolls and floral sprays. Having a removable tole liner. With manufacturer's label inscribed 'Shoolbred, Lovebridge & Shoolbred' and registry mark for December 27, 1844.
Dimensions: Height 22in; width 23in; depth 14 1/4in.
Provenance: Property from a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Collection Curated by Bennett and Judie Weinstock, Philadelphia.
Condition:
Heavy scattered wear, chips, flaking and losses to surface throughout. Abrasions and surface scratches. The metal liner with heavy wear, oxidation and a hole worn to the bottom.
