George III Oak Dresser Base, Late 18th Century - A George III Oak Dresser Base, Late 18th Century. The molded rectangular top overhangs a frieze fitted with three drawers, raised on undulating square legs to the front. Dimensions: Height 30in; width 63 1/2in; depth 19 1/4in. Provenance:  Property from a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Collection Curated by Bennett and Judie Weinstock, Philadelphia. Condition: Structurally sound. The top with shrinkage, warping and scattered patched repairs. Brass hardware replaced. Evidence of old wood worm. Old repairs and reinforcements throughout, otherwise good condition.
