Chambersburg, Pennsylvania Copper Kettle, William Heyser III - A Pennsylvania Copper Hot Water / Tea Kettle, William Heyser III, (Franklin County, 1796-1863), Chambersburg, Dated 1825. The seamed body with dovetailed foot and gooseneck spout, the bail handle stamped ”6 / W. HEYSER. / 1825 / CHAMBERSBURG / 547”, having a domed lid with a small brass knob. Dimensions: Height overall 13in; diameter 10in; length across spout 14in. Provenance:  Property from the Collection of C. Thomas Attix Jr., East Windsor, New Jersey. Condition: Minor bending, dings and dents to the body throughout. The brass finial is possibly an old make-do repair. Darkening, wear and rubbing throughout.
