Two Mahogany Cutlery Trays / Boxes, 19th Century - Two Mahogany Double-Lidded Cutlery Trays / Boxes, First Half 19th Century. Each dovetailed with canted sides, having a hinged lid to either side, divided by a central shaped handle with cut-out handle. Dimensions: Height of larger 10 1/4in; width 18 3/4in; depth 13in; Height of smaller 10 1/4in; width 13 1/4in; depth 8 3/4in. Provenance:  Property from the Collection of C. Thomas Attix Jr., East Windsor, New Jersey. Condition: Each retaining an old surface. With general marks, wear, nicks, abrasions and surface scratches. Dust accumulation to crevices and interior. The larger tray with heavy wear and discoloration to both hinged lids.
