Japanese Hardwood Painted Screen
A four-panel example, each with central oil on canvas pictures depicting birds. The bottom and top of each panel with stylized cloud carving. The lower panels are centered by carved shou symbols.
Dimensions: Each panel 53 1/2" x 18". Total length is 72".
Condition:
Some repairs to the canvas of the paintings. The paper backing is mostly missing or damaged. Other general expected wear.
