A Group of Japanese Studio Pottery
All 20th century, comprising: a tree decorated Satsuma plate, a heavily potted bowl with a brown-purple glaze, a jar with abstract figural decoration and an associated lacquer lid, a low bowl with a crackle glaze and cherry blossom decoration, six various sauce dishes (three celadon), a green glazed teacup a bowl with relief cherry blossom decoration and, a white glazed teabowl and a large covered jar with colorful decoration.
Dimensions: from 3" to 7 1/2" in diameter, the heights range from 1" to 10".
Provenance: from a local collection.
Condition:
The jar has minor rim chips, the red bowl has several cracks, the Satsuma plate is somewhat discolored, otherwise all in good condition.
