A Group of Wooden Asian Items
19th and 20th centuries, comprising: a Japanese carved and parcel gilt figure of an elephant, a pair of Chinese Koi carved joss stick holders, a Chinese brass mounted jewelry box, and a Chinese carved root vase.
Dimensions: from 5" x 5" to 10" x 5 1/2", the heights range from 5 1/2" to 13 1/2".
Provenance: From a local collection.
Condition:
The elephant has several losses, otherwise all in good condition with some minor losses, shrinkage cracks and wear.
