George II Mahogany Card Table - A George II Mahogany Card Table, Mid 18th Century. The rectangular fold-top over a frieze fitted with a single drawer, raised on turned tapered legs, ending in pad feet. Dimensions: Height 28 1/2in; width 31 3/4in; depth 15 3/4in; depth open 31 1/4in. Provenance: Property from a New Jersey Collection. Condition: With heavy wear, nicks, abrasions, scuffs and surface scratches. Lifting and small losses to veneers. Replacements and re-gluing to glue blocks underneath table. The fly leg with wood worm damage at the hinge, having caused the leg to become fully unattached, will need repair.
