Five Portrait Miniatures, 19th Century - An Assembled Group of Five Portrait Miniatures, 19th Century. Watercolor, unsigned. Comprising a portrait of three children; a young girl in profile; portrait of a young lady; portrait of a gentleman; and portrait of a middle-aged lady. Dimensions:  Dimensions of sight range from 1 3/4 x 1 3/4in to 2 3/8 x 2 7/8in; Frames range from 4 3/4 x 4 3/4in to 5 1/4 x 6in. This lot comes from an Upper West Side, New York City collection that will be featured in a short lecture by noted specialist of portrait miniatures, Elle Shushan. The lecture will take place at our Bucks County, Pennsylvania location on October 7th at 7pm. The portrait of the gentleman with scattered scuffs and small losses to the surface. The frames with scattered wear and small losses overall. Wear and toning to the metalwork on frames throughout.
