Four Portrait Miniatures of Children, 19th Century - Four Portrait Miniatures of Children, Early 19th Century. Watercolor, unsigned. Each child with blue eyes wearing a white dress; two girls with coral necklaces. One of girls is seated in full length holding a doll. Each in a rectangular ebonized frame with cast brass hanger. Dimensions:  Sight 2 1/2 x 2 1/8in; Frames range from 4 3/4 x 4in to 5 1/2 x 4 7/8in. This lot comes from an Upper West Side, New York City collection that will be featured in a short lecture by noted specialist of portrait miniatures, Elle Shushan. The lecture will take place at our Bucks County, Pennsylvania location on October 7th at 7pm. The metal mounts with heavy wear, darkening and toning. The ebonized frames with scuffs and small losses throughout.
