Four Portrait Miniatures of Children, Early 19th Century - Four Portrait Miniatures of Young Girls, Early 19th Century. Watercolor, unsigned. Each girl is wearing a white dress, three of them with coral necklaces and two wearing white bonnets. One portrait in an oval rose gold filled locket case, the other three in ebonized rectangular frames with cast brass hangers. Dimensions:  Sight of largest 2 1/8 x 2in; Dimensions overall range from 2 3/4 x 2 1/8in to 5 x 4 3/8in. This lot comes from an Upper West Side, New York City collection that will be featured in a short lecture by noted specialist of portrait miniatures, Elle Shushan. The lecture will take place at our Bucks County, Pennsylvania location on October 7th at 7pm. The frames with typical marks, wear and small losses throughout.
