Portrait Miniature of a Young Girl with Fruit - A 3/4 Length Portrait Miniature of a Child with Fruit, Second Quarter 19th Century. Watercolor, unsigned. Depicting a young girl with curls in her hair, wearing a white dress and coral necklace holding a cluster of grapes. In a rectangular gilt metal repousee frame. Dimensions: Sight 4 1/8 x 3 1/8in; Frame 5 7/8 x 5in. This lot comes from an Upper West Side, New York City collection that will be featured in a short lecture by noted specialist of portrait miniatures, Elle Shushan.
