French Bronze Model of a Cat, Emmanuel Fremiet - A French Patinated Bronze Model of a Seated Cat with String on a Rug, Emmanuel Fremiet (1824-1910), incised 'E. FREMIET', raised on an oval marble base. Dimensions: Height of bronze 3 3/4in; height overall 4 3/4in; width 6 1/2in; depth 5in. Condition: General marks, wear, and rubbing to the surface. Dust accumulation in crevices. The marble base appears to have an old break and repair.
