Philadelphia Chippendale Mahogany Table - A Philadelphia Chippendale Mahogany Drop Leaf Dining Table, third quarter 18th century, the rectangular top over a shaped apron to either end, raise on turned tapering legs terminating in well developed claw-and-ball feet. Dimensions: Height 28 1/2in; width 47 1/4in; depth 17 3/4in; length open 50 1/4in. Provenance: From a Chester County, PA estate. Condition: Structurally sound. In an overall restored condition. The top is highly polished. Several old repairs to the top at rule joint. Otherwise general marka, wear, nicks, scuffs, and surface scratches.
