Louis XIV Carved Walnut Bergere - A Louis XIV carved walnut bergere, 18th century, having a brass studded modern tooled leather upholstery with floral motifs. Dimensions: Height 39in; width 26 1/2in; depth of seat 20in; seat height 16 1/4in. Provenance: From the Estate of Albert and Pearl Nipon Condition: In an overall restored condition, the surface of the chair's frame has been skinned. Structurally sound with pinned construction. Evidence of old wood worm to legs, arms and stretchers. The leather upholstery is in good condition overall.
