Two Parian Ware Bisque Porcelain Busts
An Art Union of London Classical Parian Ware bisque porcelain bust of the water nymph Clytie (Oceanid), Modeled by C. Delpech, 19th century, impressed to the socle "C. DELPECH. (REDT)" and "ART UNION OF LONDON. 1855.", together with a smaller similar bust of a young lady.
Dimensions:Heights 8 1/2in and 13 3/4in.
IMPORTANT NOTE: ALL preview and pickups for this sale are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY in Montgomery County Pennsylvania. Pickup times available on March 29, 30 and 31. Any items NOT picked up by April 7 will be subject to storage fee of $5/lot per day. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Condition: The larger example with appears to be in generally good condition overall. Typical marks and wear, dust and dirt in crevices. The smaller bust with extensive loss of floral crown and elements to her hair.
