A German Cello by Ernst Reinhold Schmidt - Early 20th century, with a reddish-golden varnish, labeled. The bow is student quality and marked ”Tourte”. With a soft case and photocopy of a 1982 appraisal from The House of Primavera , Philadelphia. Dimensions: The body length is 760mm. The overall length is 48 1/2”. Provenance: From a local collection. Condition: The belly has an open crack and several old repaired cracks, the upper rib has a short crack.
