Charles II Carved Oak Chest, 17th Century - A Charles II carved oak chest, late 17th century, the hinged top enclosing an open interior, raised on later block feet. Dimensions: Height 17 1/2in; width 41in; depth 15 3/4in. Provenance: From a Philadelphia Collection. Condition: Structurally sound. Evidence of old wood worm. There are numerous repairs and reinforcements throughout. Possibly reduced in height. No key.
