Five Pairs of Staffordshire Glazed Earthenware Dogs - A group of ten Staffordshire glazed earthenware dogs, 19th-20th century, comprising two large pairs of white seated spaniels, a pair of small seated spaniels, a pair of seated whippets and a pair of standing saint bernards. Dimensions: Height of tallest 11 1/2in; width 8 1/2in; depth 5 1/2in. Condition: Each with rubbing and wear to painted surface. The surface of each with typical firing and glazing imperfections, surface dirt and dust in crevices. Some with crazing throughout and small losses. The right facing saint bernard with old restoration to the underside.
