Two stoneware vessels, Jugtown & green glazed
Two glazed stoneware vessels, 19th-20th century, comprising a Jugtown cobalt blue decorated salt glazed stoneware vase and an alkaline glazed stoneware ovoid jar with applied strap handles to either side.
Dimensions:heights 10 1/2in and 16 1/2in
Provenance:From a local estate.
Condition: The Jugtown vase with typical wear, glazing and firing flaws, no observed damage. The alkaline glazed jug with typical surface wear, scuffs and scratches, firing and glazing flaws. There is a full height vertical crack to one side.
