Square powder compact in metal and enamel, featuring a central reverse-painted ocean liner with a black hull and single orange funnel set against an iridescent blue butterfly wing background. The scene is inscribed R. M. S. ATLANTIC in block letters. The interior is fitted with a square mirror and a powder well containing a mesh sifter. Stamped GWENDA and MADE IN ENGLAND on the interior hinge frame.
