The blue plastic flatcar features four-wheel trucks, operating couplers, and white block lettering reading ”Lionel 6830.” The underside is molded with Made in the U.S. Of America the Lionel Corporation New York and includes mold number 6511-2. The gray plastic submarine load is printed in black with U. S. Navy 6830 and features a conning tower, molded deck details, and a black plastic propeller. The underside of the submarine retains a black metal contact plate with a white Lionel L logo and The Lionel Corporation New York, N. Y.
