2pc Goebel Earthenware Annual Eggs, 1978 & 1979 - Goebel, West Germany. Pair of annual decorative earthenware eggs, including the 1978 edition with a yellow chick and the 1979 edition with a yellow duckling. Each egg features hand-painted details and the respective year molded into the lower porcelain body. Both eggs are mounted on removable gold-tone cast metal tripod stands with stylized claw feet. Each base bears a blue underglaze backstamp featuring a crown above a large V containing a stylized bee, above the cursive name Goebel and W. Germany.
