Capodimonte Italian Porcelain Relief Hunting Scene Box - Italian porcelain oval box with gilt metal mounts and a hinged lid. The exterior body and lid feature a continuous molded basso-rilievo hunting scene depicting figures in 18th-century dress, hounds, and game animals within a wooded landscape, finished with hand-painted details. The interior of the lid and the base are decorated with hand-painted floral sprigs. The underside bears an underglaze blue mark consisting of a crown above a capital letter N for Capodimonte, and a small reddish-brown character L.
