OrnaWood Scottish Terrier Match Holder - This vintage novelty match holder or spill vase is manufactured by OrnaWood, featuring a molded composition construction designed to simulate hand-carved wood. The front of the piece displays a high-relief depiction of a Scottish Terrier, or Scottie dog, peering out from a peaked kennel. The background elements include a Gothic-style pointed arch and vertical ribbing. A carved chain motif is present on the front right. The back of the piece is hollowed out to serve as a container.
