A Collection of Vintage United States Political Campaign Pin-Back Buttons and Pins - This collection of vintage United States political campaign pin-back buttons and pins features a variety of designs and candidates primarily from the mid-to-late 20th century. The assortment includes a large lenticular flasher button for Lyndon B. Johnson inscribed LBJ FOR THE U.S.A. which alternates between a portrait and text. Other candidates represented include George McGovern with designs such as McGovern President 72, Gerald Ford, and Jimmy Carter with variants for the Carter Mondale and Re-Elect Carter Mondale tickets. Later campaigns are represented by Ronald Reagan, the Mondale Ferraro ticket, George H.W. Bush and Dan Quayle 92, Bill Clinton and Al Gore 96, and George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. The group also contains specialized items such as a DALEY FOR PRESIDENT button and a red SOCK IT TO EM SPIRO pin.
