3pc Deruta Italian Majolica Portrait Wall Plates - Trio of graduated portrait plates in glazed earthenware, featuring hand-painted Renaissance-style figures against dark cobalt blue grounds. The central medallions depict profile and three-quarter portraits of figures in period attire, surrounded by yellow borders and wide scrolling foliate rims with fleur-de-lis motifs. The outer edges are finished with an orange-ochre band. Reverse surfaces are glazed and bear yellow foil labels for the retailer S.E.L.A.N., located at Via Porta Rossa, Florence.
