Japanese Ink and Wash on Paper Ebisu Hanging Scroll w/ Seal - Japanese hanging scroll in ink and light wash on paper depicting Ebisu, one of the Seven Lucky Gods and patron of fishermen, seated by the water by a gnarled pine tree. He is rendered with his characteristic attributes: a traditional bamboo fishing rod and a large sea bream. The painting is mounted on a patterned paper border and fitted with a wooden roller at the base. The lower-left corner of the painting contains a signature in black ink followed by a square red seal.
