3pc Wedgwood Susie Cooper Ashmun Tea Set - This is a three piece fine bone china tea set in the Egyptian Revival Ashmun pattern, designed by Susie Cooper for Wedgwood. The set includes one lidded teapot, one creamer, and one cup. Each piece is constructed of white bone china with a refined transfer printed decoration in a palette of teal, turquoise, royal blue, and ochre gold. The lidded teapot features a tall cylindrical body with a curved spout and a large loop handle. One side is decorated with a seated female figure in elaborate Egyptian attire, while the reverse depicts a male archer with a bow and arrow standing over a gazelle. The flat lid is topped with a circular ring finial. The creamer is a small handled jug decorated with a stylized falcon on one side and a pair of ducks among lotus flowers on the other. The cup is an open cylindrical form featuring a leaping panther and a bird in flight. All pieces are finished with a geometric teal and gold border along the interior or exterior rims. The base of each piece bears a comprehensive black backstamp featuring a classical vase logo and the text: WEDGWOOD Bone China, Made in England, Susie Cooper Design, ASHMUN.
