Japanese Zen Ink on Paper Calligraphy Hanging Scroll - Japanese hanging scroll featuring a single-character Zen calligraphic work in ink on paper. The central kanji character reads tranquility or stillness. The work is mounted in a traditional three-part style with gold-patterned silk brocade borders, gold-thread strips, and light-tan upper and lower sections. The piece includes light-colored roller ends and a hanging cord. A square red seal is present in the lower left corner and a rectangular red seal is located in the upper right corner.
