Roseville Pottery Creamware Dutch Children Mugs, Set of Three - This set of three Roseville Pottery creamware mugs features nostalgic transfer-printed scenes of Dutch children in traditional attire. Each mug is crafted from glazed earthenware with a cream-colored body and a tapered cylindrical form. The vessels feature distinctive angular, squared-off handles and rest on stylized three-lobed, footed bases. The multi-colored folk-art decorations depict children in wooden clogs: one scene shows a boy and girl with a toy sailboat, another depicts a boy fishing with a girl, and the third shows children with geese near a windmill. Each mug is finished with a single thin blue band hand-painted around the rim. The mug featuring the fishing scene also includes a smaller version of the same illustration on the reverse side.
