McCoy Ceramic Potbelly Stove Cookie Jar - McCoy Pottery vintage cookie jar designed in the form of a traditional potbelly stove. The piece is constructed from molded ceramic finished in a matte black glaze to simulate cast iron. The design features a barrel-shaped body with relief vertical ribbing, set upon a rectangular footed base. The front includes a simulated fire door with red and orange cold-painted accents representing glowing embers. The jar is completed with a matching removable lid with a flared rim and cylindrical finial. Incised McCoy USA mark on the underside of the base.
