Royal Doulton Granny and Old Charley Character Ware Grouping - This 2pc Royal Doulton grouping includes an Old Charley ashtray and a Granny small jug. Produced by Royal Doulton in Burslem, England, these glazed earthenware items feature molded character forms decorated with hand-painted polychrome enamels. The Granny jug depicts an elderly woman in a mob cap with a distinctive multicolored striped handle. The Old Charley ashtray, pattern D5599, features a character head wearing a tricorn hat and green scarf mounted to a circular tray finished in a deep black high-gloss glaze. The underside of each piece bears the standard Royal Doulton mark. Dimensions: 4.50”L x 2.50”W x 3.50”H Condition: Good
