3pc Wedgwood Items Including Rex Whistler Clovelly Bowl, Cambrian Green Bowl, and Nautilus Shell - This lot consists of three ceramic items manufactured by Wedgwood. The first is a shallow earthenware bowl finished in a Matt Straw glaze, featuring a black transfer-printed landscape titled Clovelly. The design, by Reginald John Rex Whistler, depicts a coastal village scene framed by a foliate arch. The underside is marked with a printed Rex Whistler Design backstamp, Wedgwood Etruria-England, and Matt Straw. It also bears an impressed Wedgwood mark and incised alphanumeric characters 3981G. The second item is a small saucer in a matching Matt Straw glaze, featuring a central molded relief of a Nautilus shell motif and concentric rings. The base is marked with a printed Wedgwood Etruria-England Matt Straw stamp, an incised number 62908, and an impressed letter E. The third item is a deep circular bowl with a vertically fluted or ribbed exterior, finished in a deep Cambrian green glaze. The form is characteristic of Art Deco designs produced for the factory.
