Berber-Style Carved Hardwood Tent Post - Berber style architectural tent post hand-carved from solid hardwood. The design features a tall, slender shaft decorated with recessed geometric panels and stylized floral motifs. The top is fitted with a four-way bracketed capital, each arm terminating in a triple-lobed scroll design, inspired by structural forks used to support horizontal crossbeams in nomadic tent construction. The wood exhibits a dark brown patina and vertical grain checking throughout. Private collection; origin and date unknown.
