Herend Hungary Queen Victoria Porcelain Reticulated Basket - Herend, Hungary. Reticulated oval basket in fine porcelain, decorated in the Queen Victoria pattern. The form features hand-cut interlaced oval walls and a scalloped rim. Hand-painted with butterflies and floral sprays in a polychrome palette. The reticulated borders are accented with light blue lines, and the rim and base are finished with hand-applied gilding. The base bears a blue underglaze circular mark with a central shield and crown, reading HUNGARY at the top and HEREND at the bottom, along with hand-written script HANDPAINTED and the pattern and model number 7403/VBO.
