Herend Hungary Porcelain Queen Victoria Vase with Gilt Banding - Herend, Hungary. Baluster-form vase in fine white porcelain decorated in the Queen Victoria pattern. The body features hand-painted polychrome butterflies and floral sprigs, including large peonies and smaller varied blossoms. The lower section of the body is designed with vertical panels in pale green, divided by gilded lines. The flared, scalloped rim is finished with a green border and a gilded edge. The base bears a blue printed mark consisting of a circular border with HEREND HUNGARY surrounding a central crown and shield crest, with HANDPAINTED printed below. Hand-inscribed in blue script are the numbers 7163/VBO, and a small incised number 38 is located on the unglazed foot rim. Dimensions: 4”W x 8”H Weight: 0.9 lbs Condition: Good.
