8pc Collection of Ancient Roman Glass Miniature Vessels - Collection of hand-blown soda-lime glass miniature vessels. The group features a variety of forms including bulbous bodies, flared rims, and elongated necks. The glass presents in several tones, including pale aqua, deep forest green, translucent buff, and one example with a swirled or mottled brown and green appearance. Construction is characterized by irregular wall thickness and neck symmetry consistent with early glassblowing techniques. The bases exhibit rough, snapped pontil scars.
