1906 German Baden 2 Mark Silver Coin - German State of Baden, 1906. Silver 2 Mark coin struck to commemorate the golden wedding anniversary of Grand Duke Friedrich I and Grand Duchess Luise. The obverse features conjoined busts facing right with the circumscribed legend FRIEDRICH UND LUISE VON BADEN 1856-1906. The reverse depicts the crowned imperial eagle of the German Empire with legends DEUTSCHES REICH 1906 and ZWEI MARK. A single impressed capital G character is located on the reverse below the eagle tail. Housed in a clear square plastic protective slab with a black gasket. Total weight 27.77g.
