Tokyo Design Studio Black Basalt Ceramic Plate - Tokyo Design Studio contemporary ceramic rimmed plate featuring a matte black basalt glaze finish. The wide, flaring rim is decorated with radial grooves in the Japanese shinogi style, with the glaze intentionally thinned along the raised ridges to reveal the lighter clay body underneath. The underside of the plate is incised with the mark TOKYO / 10 7-2015 within the unglazed foot ring. Includes a circular white provenance sticker for the Rubin Collection at the center of the base.
