2pc Moorcroft Pottery Pin Dishes - Pair of Moorcroft Pottery tube-lined earthenware pin dishes, featuring hand-painted underglaze decoration. The first dish depicts a butterfly with blue and black wing markings resting on yellow and orange lilies against a cream ground. The reverse is marked as a trial piece, dated 12-11-18 with decorator initials DJS, and includes an impressed pineapple year cypher and anchor symbol. The second dish features the Reeds at Sunset pattern, depicting bullrushes against a stylized sky with a red sun, dated 1990. The underside features a red printed monogram mark and an impressed arrow year cypher.
