Pre-Columbian Polychrome Pottery Bowl - The interior center features a profile of a seated human figure wearing an elaborate headdress and ear flares, positioned on a bench or throne. A decorative border of stylized glyph-like motifs and circular elements surrounds the central scene. The exterior wall is decorated with repeating zoomorphic figures depicted in dark brown and orange slip with flame-like protrusions emanating from the mouths. Large dark circular motifs are positioned between the animal figures. The base shows three distinct circular patches where the surface slip is missing or filled with a gray material. Acquired from a private collection. Exact origin, history and age are unknown.
