Pre-Columbian Polychrome Earthenware Bowl - A deep, rounded earthenware bowl featuring polychrome slip decoration. The vessel is finished with a warm orange slip ground, decorated with three primary horizontal registers. The upper and mid-body are defined by two wide, dark charcoal-gray bands. In the register between these bands are twin parallel wavy lines painted in a dark reddish-brown pigment. The lower body, extending toward the base, is adorned with bold, stylized curvilinear scroll motifs in the same reddish-brown color, likely representing water, clouds, or other natural elements common in Pre-Columbian iconography. The interior of the bowl is finished with a similar uniform orange slip. The base shows a dark, irregular circular patch of residue or archaeological encrustation. Acquired from a private collection.
